There’s a bittersweet paradox in watching children grow. You cherish their innocence and wish for time to slow down. You want to prevent them from experiencing the burdens of adulthood. However, the constant influx of sugary treats can be overwhelming.

In today’s digital world, even simple transactions are conducted electronically. The concept of “rounding off” figures might seem archaic. Yet, I know someone who still adheres to this old-school practice. My Lifeline Munchie.

This morning, Munchie returned from his grocery run. He made the entire transaction digitally. I reviewed his shopping list. I noticed an unexpected item. A pack of Fru Juicy Jelly Candies.

On asking he said that I brought this for our Nephew. I was like why this? He said that the Candy for the kids and the Fun Toy with this pack for his kid(that’s his love ‘ME’).

Intrigued, I examined the candy pack. I discovered a small toy included within. A knowing smile exchanged between Munchie and me. My nephew eagerly tore open the pack. He revealed five vibrant Fru Juicy Jelly Candies. Three delectable flavors: raw mango, guava, and mango.

The shows topper was the Fun Toy. It was a tiny whistle. Munchie playfully declared it was intended for me. I showed it to Munchie and Munchie said see pink color, it’s for you. laughed and exclaimed, ‘Yes, of course!. This whistle i am going to make noise near your ears throughout the day. I ensured that he would hear its melodious tune throughout the day. My nephew, with the enthusiasm only a child can possess, spent the entire day delighting in the shrill sounds of his new toy. Much to Munchie’s amusement.
