There are moments in life that come once in a lifetime. These moments stay with us forever. On Sunday night, I experienced one such unforgettable moment. I never thought I would have the chance to witness something so special.

I was in Namma Bengaluru for a family wedding. The celebrations were in full swing, and the atmosphere was electric. But what made that evening extraordinary was the unexpected surprise that awaited me. I had the opportunity to visit Vidhana Soudha.

Yes, you read that correctly! I had the chance to see the iconic building from the inside. For those unfamiliar, Vidhana Soudha is the seat of the Karnataka state legislature. It’s one of the most important landmarks in Bengaluru and holds significant historical and cultural value. Seeing it up close was something I could have never imagined.

The timing of this experience made it even more special. Sunday was a day filled with family celebrations at the wedding. It was beautiful, joyous, and full of love. Then, as Monday morning approached, I had to catch an early flight back. So, my Sunday evening became the highlight of my trip.

It was one of those rare moments that you will always remember. Being able to witness such a majestic building, with its rich history, was an incredible privilege. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to end my visit to Bengaluru.

The evening felt like a perfect blend of tradition and modernity. As I stood there, looking at the grand architecture of Vidhana Soudha, I realized how lucky I was to be part of such a unique experience. It’s moments like these that remind us how special life can be.

From February 27th to March 3rd, Vidhana Soudha hosted a book fair. It was a unique event that offered more than just books. Along with the fair, visitors had the rare opportunity to explore a part of Vidhana Soudha from the inside. Best of all, entry was free for everyone.

As I walked through the building, I had the chance to see the Assembly Chamber. The experience of being inside the chamber was indescribable. The grand architecture, the history, and the significance of the place made it feel so special. It’s an experience that will stay with me forever.

At the book fair, I was able to pick up four books. The variety of books available was impressive, and I was excited to take home some new reads. The fair was a great opportunity to discover new authors and explore different genres.

The best time to visit the fair was definitely in the evening. Cultural performances added a unique charm to the atmosphere. When I arrived, I was lucky enough to witness one of my favorite performances. Arjun Janya was singing the beautiful song “Ishq Hai” from the Hindi-Tamil movie Kadhale.

The soothing music filled the air, making the entire experience even more magical. The combination of the book fair, the cultural performances, and the chance to see Vidhana Soudha from the inside created an unforgettable evening. The atmosphere was lively yet calming, and it was the perfect way to spend an evening.

This book fair at Vidhana Soudha was a rare and special event. It brought together literature, culture, and history in one place. It was an opportunity to appreciate the beauty of Bengaluru’s iconic building while enjoying great music and discovering new books. If you missed it, I hope the next event will be just as memorable.
